"Congratulations to Moroccan diplomacy for the efforts to bring Libyans together in Bouznika, in support of the Libyan Political Dialogue Forum facilitated by the UN," the United States Embassy in Morocco wrote in a tweet on Monday.
The second round of the inter-Libyan dialogue, held in Bouznika under the UN auspices, brought together delegations from the High Council of State and the Libyan House of Representatives.
In the final statement at the end of this round, the two delegations announced "decisive and comprehensive agreements on the criteria and mechanisms for holding key positions", provided for in article 15 of the Libyan Political Agreement of Skhirat.
The two parties said that "the results of the dialogue between the two delegations is a contribution on which it is possible to capitalize, to establish stability in the country and put an end to institutional division".
