Al Hoceima: Royal Navy Aborts Drug Trafficking Operation in Inouaren
Rabat - Members of the Royal Navy surveillance post of Inouaren, 4 km west of the city of Al-Hoceima, who were patrolling on foot, seized, Tuesday at about 04:45 a.m., 117 bundles of narcotics - weighing a total of four tons - that were packed for illegal trafficking and hidden in a thalweg near the beach of Inouaren, according to a military source.
The offenders, who were present in large numbers close to the patrolled area, all fled after being detected by the members of the Royal Navy, the source added.
The drug seized was handed over to the Gendarmerie Royale of Al-Hoceima.
