Significant efforts are being made for the construction of local schools which remain "exemplary", as they offer encouraging conditions for schooling and create a climate conducive to success, added Amzazi in a statement to the press at the end of his visit to the Anefgou local school.
This initiative aims to support the measures taken to supply schools with firewood, with the nearing of the cold wave that hits every year this region, he said, affirming that the officials of the Provincial Department of the National Education in Midelt and of the AREF of DrĂ¢a-Tafilalet have undertaken all the necessary actions for this purpose.
Amzazi also referred to the visit he made that same day to the building site of the "Al Arz" middle school in the town of Tounfite (province of Midelt), as part of monitoring the implementation of several similar projects launched in different regions of Morocco.
The minister noted that the "Al Arz" middle school in Tounfite will reduce the number of students sent to the "Abdelmoumen" high school.
Recalling that his department adopts a territorial positive discrimination in favor of rural areas, especially mountainous ones, Amzazi described as very satisfactory the rate of schooling of girls in these zones (100% in primary education).
On this occasion, 100 electronic tablets were offered to this local school in order to create a digital library for the benefit of students and to support the efforts made in terms of self-learning adopted following the Covid-19 pandemic. School bags and books were also distributed.
