The drugs were on board a vehicle with forged license plates, Colonel Abdelkader Battani, regional commander of the Customs brigade in Tangier-Tetouan-Al Hoceima told MAP.

This operation is the result of a well-prepared ambush on National Road No. 16 linking Al Jebha to Al Hoceima in the rural commune Rouadi, about 35 km from Al Hoceima, Colonel Battani said. The operation did not result in any arrests, he added.
