"These measures come into force as of this Monday, November 23, 2020 at 8 p.m. for a period of 15 days," according to a press release from the provincial monitoring committee.

It was decided to impose an exceptional authorization to travel to and from Taroudant, with the exception of travel for health and professional reasons, the ban on the broadcasting of football matches in all cafes in the city, the closure of hammams, gardens, public places and children's play areas and the closure of shops and cafes at 8:00 p.m.

The local authorities of Taroudant have also decided to rigorously monitor compliance with preventive measures (wearing a mask, social distancing) and to apply the provisions of the law against offenders.

They also invited the population to an effective adherence to these preventive measures.
