This decision comes following the conclusions of the operations of regular monitoring of the evolution of the epidemiological situation and after contamination cases increased, indicates a press release from the watch committee of the prefecture of Agadir, noting that this extension comes into force from Sunday, December 20, 2020, at 9 p.m.
To deal with the spread of the pandemic, the local authorities of Agadir Ida-Ouatanane took several measures on November 20, including the closing of beaches, of El Had Market and local markets at 3 p.m.
The measures also include the obligation to have an exceptional authorization to travel to and from the prefecture of Agadir Ida-Ouatanane, the prohibition of all forms of night movements between 9 p.m. and 6 a.m. except for health and occupational reasons, as well as the closure of cafes, restaurants, stores and large shopping malls at 8 p.m.
They also involve the closure of public baths and beauty salons except hairdressers salons, of gyms, of parks and of local playgrounds, in addition to the shut down of bus transportation at 9 p.m. and the promotion of teleworking when possible, the press release concluded.
