During the meeting, which was attended by senior officials of the Interior Ministry, as well as the president of the council of the commune of Casablanca and the managing director of the Lydec company, among others, the various aspects related to the rainfall in the areas affected, namely the impact on the infrastructure and on the population were examined, according to a release of the wilaya of Casablanca-Settat.

The meeting also focused on the completed and future projects carried out within the framework of the delegated management contract signed between the Municipality of Casablanca and Lydec.

Participants in the meeting stressed the need to take practical and immediate measures to deal with the locations submerged with rainwater through technical operations, to carry out the necessary works, improve traffic and transport conditions in the city and implement urgent measures concerning the inhabitants of houses on the verge of collapsing.
