Around 10 members of the medical personnel of the Health Ministry, including nurses and administrators, received their first dose of the vaccine in the Moulay El Hassan Belmehdi Hospital.

The first batch of the vaccine meant for the Laâyoune-Sakia El Hamra region arrived on Wednesday evening in Hassan I Airport in Laâyoune and was dispatched to all provinces, namely Boujdour, Es-Semara and Tarfaya.

The regional health director Ali El Haouri said that all heath authorities and agents are mobilized for the success of this vaccination campaign.

He explained that sixteen vaccination points were set for this campaign in Laâyoune, 10 of which in urban areas, 6 in the rural world, 5 in Es-Semara, 5 in Boujdour and 7 in Tarfaya.

HM King Mohammed VI launched on Thursday the national vaccination campaign against Covid-19.
