The other members of the jury are actress and director Latefa Ahrar and Tunisian film researcher and academic Wassim Korbi.
The Short Film Prize of this festival, which aims to highlight the natural, cultural and tourist potential of the region and to contribute to the promotion of the Hassani and Amazigh cultures, features six films, including Lopsy (Morocco) by Mehdi Ayouche and Vincent avant midi (France) by Guillaume Mainguet.
Five films from five countries will also compete for the award of best short documentary, including 86 Days (Morocco) by Hassan Maanany and Mourad Khallou, Icarus (Morocco-Hungary) by Sanaa El Alaoui and The Recovery King (Algeria) by Bougheraaf Abdellah Mansour.
Nine Moroccan films will vie to win the National Short Film Prize, including Andor by Nora Azeoural Tafat, Crack by Blal Touil, Détresse by Najib El Assad, The Last Wave by Mustapha Farmati and In The Heart Oh The Moon by Hicham El Barkaoui.
