The conditions of incarceration of all of these detainees "are good", both in terms of the meals offered or the necessary health protection, like all the other inmates in penitentiary establishments, underlined the DGAPR in a statement in reaction to the allegations of a certain "Euro-Mediterranean Human Rights Observatory", concerning the situation of detainees imprisoned as part of the Al Hoceima events.

The same source noted that "the allegations stated in the said observatory's press release are only the reproduction of the lies disseminated by certain parties, and these are the same allegations that the DGAPR had refuted in previous press releases".

In addition, the DGAPR affirmed that it is ready to open the doors of the penitentiaries accommodating the said prisoners to the national human rights bodies concerned, in order to inquire about their situation.
