The Kingdom is represented at this meeting by Morocco's Ambassador in Cairo and Permanent Representative to the Arab League, Ahmed Tazi.

The two-day meeting will focus on a number of questions related to the Arab joint action and the appointment, for a second term,  of Ahmed Abul Gheit as Secretary-General of the Arab League.

It will also discuss the agenda of the upcoming Arab Heads of State Summit, the latest developments of the Palestinian cause, the Arab-Israeli conflict as well as the implementation of the Arab Peace Initiative.

Arab water security, developments in Syria, Libya and Yemen and Iran's occupation of the Emirati islands in the Arab Gulf are on the agenda as well.
