Govt. Council Adopts Draft Decree on Maritime Trade Code

Rabat - The Government Council adopted Thursday a draft decree on the application of certain provisions of the first Appendix of the Dahir (March 31, 1919) forming the maritime trade code relating to fishing vessels.

Decree No. 2.20.581 determines the new measures requiring the application of the provisions of the aforementioned law, as well as the methods of preparation of navigation passports, of safety passports, of the registry of Moroccan fishing vessels and of the minutes of infringements, said Saaid Amzazi, Spokesman of the government, in a statement read at a press briefing following the end of the weekly Cabinet meeting.

The text was presented by Minister of Agriculture, Fisheries, Rural Development and Water and Forestrs, Amzazi said.
