Initialed by Amekraz, the Wali of the Souss Massa region, Governor of the prefecture of Agadir-Ida Ou Tanane Ahmed Hajji, and the President of the Regional Council Ibrahim Hafidi, this agreement aims to develop and implement a regional employment promotion program for the period 2020-2022 between the State and the region.

This program is based on the projects and objectives laid down under the regional development program and on the measures included in the national employment promotion plan, mainly concerning active employment programs.

It also aims to enable job seekers belonging to the region, in particular young people, to take advantage of available employment opportunities, whether in the region, in other regions or outside the national territory.

The signing ceremony of this agreement was also an opportunity to launch a regional and inter-regional regulatory system, in partnership with entrepreneurs specializing in the automotive industry, with the objectives of reducing regional disparities in terms of job opportunities, meeting mass job vacancies and standardizing job vacancy processing practices through this mechanism, with the coordination and cooperation of local authorities.
