The suspects were arrested during a security operation carried out in the neighborhood "Mesnana" in Tangier, the National Police (DGSN) said in a press release.

Search operations resulted in the seizure of 3,161 psychotropic pills, including Rivotril pills (2,366) and Ecstasy (795), as well as a car, six cell phones and of a sum of money suspected to be originated from this criminal activity, according to the same source.

The suspects, aged 29 to 37, were taken into police custody to complete the investigation conducted under the supervision of the competent public prosecutor's office in order to identify potential ramifications of this criminal activity, as determine the criminal charges against the five individuals.
