The university ranked third nationally in its achievement of UN sustainable development goals. It stood out particularly in the achievement of SDG7 "Clean energy", ranking 24th worldwide, SDG4 "Quality Education", SDG10 "Reduced Inequalities", and SDG16 "Peace, Justice and Strong Institutions," the University said in a statement.
It also ranked in the Top 300 worldwide for "No Poverty" (SDG1), "Zero Hunger" (SDG2), and "Clean Water and Sanitation" (SDG6). Moulay Ismail University ranked in the Top 400 worldwide for "Responsible Consumption and Production" (SDG12) and "Climate Action" (SDG13).
More than 1,115 universities representing 94 countries took part in the 2021 edition of the ranking.
