Tetouan: Police Open Investigation into Organization of Illegal Emigration Collective Operation

Rabat - The prefectural service of the judicial police of Tetouan opened, on Tuesday, an investigation to identify all the people involved in the organization of an illegal emigration collective operation via sea routes, from off Fnideq.

In a statement, the National Police (DGSN) said that the investigation concerns 23 would-be emigrants handed over by the Spanish security services after their arrival in Sebta by sea.

The individuals were placed in custody to complete the judicial investigation conducted under the supervision of the competent prosecutor to elucidate the reasons and circumstances of this case, and determine its possible links with illegal emigration networks, concluded the DGSN.
