According to the latest European Commission review, Morocco has benefited, until the end of 2020, from the funding of 69 projects involving 82 public and private research teams with an overall budget of 6.81 million euros as part of the said program, Department of Higher Education and Scientific Research said on Tuesday in a statement.

The main partners of Morocco in these projects are France, Spain, Italy, Germany, and the United Kingdom, the Ministry noted.

The European research program "Horizon 2020" is the largest funding program for research and innovation in the European Union, with a budget of 80 billion euros for the period 2014-2020.
