Morocco is represented at this meeting, held by videoconference, by the Minister Delegate in charge of Moroccans Abroad, Nouzha El Ouafi, and Abdellah Babah, Deputy Permanent Representative of the Kingdom of Morocco to the OIC.

The meeting is supposed to focus on the Israeli aggressions against the Palestinian territories, particularly in Al-Quds Al-Sharif, and acts of violence committed by Israel in the area of Al-Aqsa Mosque.

In an address at the opening of this meeting, Saudi Foreign Minister Prince Faiçal Ben Farhan deplored the flagrant violations perpetrated by Israel against the Palestinians, expressing his condemnation of Israel's seizure of Palestinians' homes in Al-Quds. 

He also called for the immediate end of the Israeli escalation, adding that the international community must shoulder its responsibilities in the face of Israeli violations and intervene urgently to put an end to these acts.
