Speaking to MAP upon the arrival in Amman of the emergency humanitarian aid sent by Morocco following the High Instructions of the Sovereign to the Palestinian population in the West Bank and Gaza Strip, the diplomat noted that Morocco, a sister country known for such initiatives, has sent basic foodstuff, medicines and blankets to meet the needs of the Palestinians following the Israeli attacks.

"We are proud of the strong and fraternal relations that we enjoy with the Moroccan people," said Hajaoui, stressing that the Kingdom was and will always remain alongside Palestine.

For his part, the ambassador of Morocco to Jordan, Khalid Naciri, underlined that the humanitarian aid sent following the High Instructions of HM King Mohammed VI to the Palestinian people, shows the strong bonds of fraternity and solidarity between the two countries.

This is an opportunity for the Kingdom, under the leadership of HM King Mohammed VI, Chairman of the Al-Quds Committee, to express its unwavering support to the Palestinian people in these difficult times, he pointed out.

The Moroccan ambassador highlighted, in this regard, the efforts of HM the King and Morocco in the defense of the Palestinian cause at international fora.

For his part, Hussein Chibli, Secretary General of the Jordan Hashemite Charity Organization (JHCO) expressed his gratitude to His Majesty the King, to the Moroccan government and people for the actions undertaken in favor of the Palestinians.

Morocco was, as usual, among the first countries to respond by sending aid to the Palestinian people, Chibli noted, adding that JHCO will do its best to deliver the aid as soon as possible.

HM King Mohammed VI, Chairman of the Al-Quds Committee, has kindly given his High Instructions to send emergency humanitarian aid for the benefit of the Palestinian population in the West Bank and Gaza Strip.

This humanitarian aid, consisting of 40 tons, is made up of basic food products, emergency medicine and blankets.

The decision of HM King Mohammed VI, Chairman of the Al-Quds Committee, is part of the Kingdom's continued support for the just Palestinian cause and its permanent solidarity with the brotherly Palestinian people.
