In statements to the Jordanian news website +Madar Alsaa+, the personalities stressed that Morocco, as usual, has taken the initiative to provide humanitarian support to the Palestinian people, in parallel with its political efforts to support the Palestinian cause.
In this regard, Abbas Zaki, a member of Fatah's Central Committee, lauded the principled stance of His Majesty King Mohammed VI who gave his High Instructions to immediately stand by Al Quds and the Palestinian people in Gaza and the West Bank in this difficult time.
Zaki also welcomed the arrival of Moroccan aid in Amman en route to Palestine, noting that "this is the principled and genuine position of His Majesty the King, Chairman of the Al Quds Committee, which is expressed daily by the genuine Moroccan people towards Palestine and its cause".
For his part, former parliamentarian and Jordanian lawyer Mohamad Al Hajouj Al Dawayima said that the aid to the Palestinians in the West Bank and Gaza Strip is another proof of the permanent and unconditional position of Morocco for the welfare of the Palestinian brothers.
He stressed that this position is not new, as Morocco has always supported the Palestinian people whether through medical, food or financial aid, through the Bayt Mal Al Quds Acharif Agency, the establishment of field hospitals, or political and diplomatic support in international forums.
Raja Talab, a journalist at the daily +Al Rai+ and contributor to several Arab websites, said that "it is not surprising that the Kingdom of Morocco is the first Arab country to send aid, on the High Instructions of His Majesty King Mohammed VI, to the Palestinian people in the West Bank and Gaza Strip, containing urgent medical and food aid to strengthen the resilience of the Palestinians”.
Morocco has always provided strong support to the Palestinian cause, he said, stressing that the Kingdom deploys all its efforts politically and diplomatically and uses its relations and the international respect it enjoys to support the Palestinian cause in all forums.
The Kingdom of Morocco firmly supports with all its weight the peaceful efforts for the establishment of a Palestinian State within the borders of June 4, 1967, with East Al Quds as its capital, concluded the Palestinian writer.
