Australia: Islamic High Council Welcomes Royal Initiatives in Support of Palestinians

Rabat - Secretary-General of Darulfatwa - Islamic High Council of Australia Salim Alouane, welcomed Royal Initiatives in support of Palestinians and humanitarian aids sent to the Palestinians in the West Bank and Gaza Strip.

This action "is not strange" to HM King Mohammed VI, Chairman of the Al Quds Committee, as witnessed by the Sovereign religious, national and humanitarian stances, Alouane said in a statement.

The just Palestinian cause remains among HM the King Mohammed VI priorities, who continues to work to relieve the suffering of Palestinians in Al Quds and in occupied Palestine.

He welcomed the efforts of Bayt Mal Al-Quds Acharif Agency which works to help local inhabitants.

The Secretary-General also hailed Morocco's "firm position" which strongly condemned the aggression perpetrated in the occupied Palestinian territories and the Kingdom's efforts to end violence.
