Oxford Quality Memorandum is an agreement between the Oxford University Press (OUP) and select schools worldwide that seek to sustain high education standards in teaching English.
This certification (Oxford Quality) is the result of 5 years of work since 2015, during which Oxford observed the progress and excellence of Yassamine Primary School in English from 2015 to 2020, through teacher trainings (7 to 10 teachers per year) and a teachers' audit (visits once or twice a year) carried out by the OUP staff through periodic monitoring and assistance in English teaching courses at the primary level.
Speaking on this occasion, the founder of Yassamine schools, Najia Kabbaj, said that this collaboration will further strengthen the role played by these schools, stressing the quality of education offered by Yassamine schools.
For his part, Rachid Assefar, consultant at OUP, underlined that "Oxford Quality Memorandum" is a collaboration between OUP and select educational institutions worldwide with the aim of ensuring excellence in teaching English.
This partnership will help improve and promote academic excellence in English, since Oxford will also provide new teaching management methods as well as the provision of professional support materials, in addition to the launch of webinars to support students with specific learning needs.
In his turn, Mohamed Bentahar, English courses supervisor at Yassamine schools, noted that this collaboration will strengthen the school's openness to its environment, particularly by mastering foreign languages, especially English.
Speaking on this occasion, the Consul General of the United Kingdom, Daniel Katte, welcomed this cooperation which will provide new impetus into relations between the two countries.
The representative of Oxford University Press in North Africa, Nick Cherkas, said that this collaboration is part of the quality program which guarantees quality English learning courses.
